David Vohl (possibly son of Johann Georg Vohl), born about 1740 probably in Germany; died about 1812 in Menallen, Adams, Pennsylvania; married 21 April 1767 (recorded at Christ (Mertz) Lutheran Church in Rockland, Berks, Pennsylvania) to Elisabetha Schaed who was born about 1740 possibly in Germany and died about 1809 in Menallen.
In 1799, he appeared on the Menallen Tax List as “David Foal”. On 16 February 1800, they were baptismal sponsors in Menallen for David Orner, son of Felix and Juliana Orner(10).

On 21 July 1793, Jakob Fohl (presumably still single) was a baptismal sponsor (along with “Catar. Guten”) in Menallen for Joh. Jacob Schlosser, son of Pet. and Elisab. Schlosser(6).
On 09 May 1798, “Jacob and Gretha Vohl” were baptismal sponsors in Menallen for Maria Fenstermacher, daughter of Theobald and Katy Fenstermacher(6).
